Course Description
If you have a child/ren in school this is a great group for you to join. We will discuss all kinds of topics like meeting needs of twice exceptional learners, IEP’s, 504’s, what is self-advocacy really, what are the precursors for self-advocacy, communication with the school team when to step-in and is stepping-back appropriate, tips for building a strong school team and more. School avoidance is a seriously challenging situation for parents, children and the school team; what can be done? Is public school, homeschool, hybrid enrollment or private school the best choice for your child? Let’s work together to make the school years a time of building self-esteem, love of learning, and life skills. This group is suitable for all school aged children however; we will create groups based on children’s age range.
Cancellation Policy
Payment is non-refundable. By paying for 10 group sessions you are committing to joining 10 group sessions. If the Client must miss a scheduled session, the Client will communicate to the Coach, via phone or e-mail, a minimum of 24 hours prior to the scheduled session. If the Coach must cancel a coaching session the coach will provide notice to the Client a minimum of 48 hours prior to the session, if at all possible. A make-up session will be scheduled at the end of the 9th session totaling 10 sessions total. If a client is a no-show or cancels they agree to miss the content of that session. No make-ups are available if a client misses a session. Coach will do their best to inform the client of missed content via email.
