Course Description
Specially designed for parents and students with a 504 or IEP. 2 virtual working sessions with you and your child. Your child is invited to attend for the first 30 minutes and participate at their comfort level. Children can remain and listen or be excused to an independent activity during these sessions. The group will focus on smoothing the transition back to school, which is especially important for grades 6 and 9, but all grades will benefit. Virtual session will use Google Meet. 10-11:30am Saturday, August 2 and 9. All materials included. GOALS Parent and student participation; Pre first-day of school action plan; Parent and child created “This-is-Me” to share with teachers, template included; Parent letter to case manager, template included; Students practice sharing accomodations; Ease parent and student anxiety. Virtual or in person sessions (Lafayette). $85 total. 6 parents maximum per group. You and your spouse or parenting partner count as 1 person. Pre and post session back-to-school activities included.
Cancellation Policy
Payment is non-refundable. By paying for 2 group sessions you are committing to joining 2 group sessions. If the Client must miss a scheduled session, the Client will communicate to the Coach, via phone or e-mail, a minimum of 24 hours prior to the scheduled session. If the Coach must cancel a coaching session the coach will provide notice to the Client a minimum of 48 hours prior to the session, if at all possible. No make-ups are available if a client misses a session. Coach will do their best to inform the client of missed content via email.
